Coup de Coeur
The Jury identified 21 wines as “coup de coeur”, denoting wines that won them over, and which they considered the best in Lebanon.
This is a very good wine in a style that is easy to like for it’s elegance and poise. The nose combines fruit and vanilla-type aromas, showing subtle use of barrel ageing to frame the cassis style of fruit. This impression of juiciness is confirmed on the palate, accompanied all long by reminders of vanilla. The flavors are fresh and lingering.
