Mont d’Almaz faces the Saade Vineyards in the small village of Beit Menzer — Bcharre, near Kadisha Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site. According to historical evidence, Lebanon was one of the earliest wine producers. Château Saade’s wines are produced at an altitude varying from 1,000 to 1,260 metres. Its unctuous aroma and profound taste carry the surrounding roses, cedars, pines and fruit trees.
After living abroad for quite a while, the Saadés returned to their native village. As wine lovers, they found that their family land had the best quality of soil, a perfect climate with dry summers and snowy winters — essential requirements to produce a natural wine reflecting the mountain's terroir.
